Matt Schaub To Undergo MRI, Sunday Status Unknown
December 7th, 2009 | by Mike Kerns |To give the anti-Schaub crowd some more ammunition, the Texans signal caller will undergo an MRI later today to declare the severity of the damage to his non-throwing shoulder.
Schaub was brought down hard on the Texans first offensive play of the game and he had to leave the game, yet returned later in the half to finish the game.
At this point, any hopes for a playoff push or even just a respectable season is pretty much done. So if the damage turns out to be severe, it really isn’t as huge of a deal as it would have been. The idiot callers on the sports radio shows here are going to bash him no matter what he does. So it isn’t like another injury to Matt is going to change anything. Just the hilarity that would ensue from watching Rex Grossman do his best David Carr impression.
