Guess What? More Texans Injuries…
December 4th, 2009 | by Mike Kerns |There reaches a point where it just isn’t funny anymore…Well, that point was a couple of season ago. Now I am just used to it.
Rookie sensation defensive back Glover Quin, a key reserve in the secondary, is a definite scratch because of the head injury he suffered against the Indianapolis Colts.

Glover Quin has exceeded everyones expectations and become an integral part of the Houston Defense. Losing him will hurt even more.
Quin took a knee to the side of his helmet during the game and it left him feeling “woozy.” He’s unhappy to be sidelined but understands why the decision was made. The NFL has become hypersensitive to the ramifications of any kind of head injury.
“I’ve had a few concussion symptoms, like a headache, this week,” Quin said. “It’s nothing major. We’re just taking precautions. I haven’t been throwing up or anything. I’m very disappointed. This is the type of game I’d want to play in, hard-nosed and physical. But I’ll just sit out this week and hope I can come back next week.”
Fellow rookie Brice McCain will assume Quin’s duties.
Quin has been a pleasant surprise this year, while McCain hasn’t lived up to expectations. With Eugene Wilson already gone for the season, things have went from bad to worse. Jaguars QB David Garrard has to be licking his chops.
