Texans Promote Foster, Release Nading
November 19th, 2009 | by Mike Kerns |
Arian Foster won't last long if he doesn't work harder than he did in the preaseson for Houston.
It isn’t quite the splash Larry Johnson would have brought, but at least the women of Houston will feel safer this way. Undrafted RB Arian Foster was promoted from the Texans practice squad as the frustration with the current RB trio of Slaton, Moats & Brown continues to mount.
Just like I said about LJ, if Foster doesn’t put the ball on the ground, he has to be an upgrade. I wasn’t too impressed by Foster in the preseason, but maybe not making the big club made him hungry and he can capitalize on this opportunity.
To make room for Foster, the team place DE Jesse Nading on waivers.
