Texans TE James Casey Expected To Return For Monday Night Football

Let's hope the new knee holds up. With Owen Daniels out for the year, we are going to need Casey.
Just two weeks since enduring knee surgery on his meniscus, Texans TE James Casey is expected to be ready to go for the Monday Night game against Tennessee in Houston on November 23rd.
“If Casey comes out today and Tuesday fine, I think all systems would be go,” coach Gary Kubiak said about playing Monday against Tennessee. “He’ll become a big part of what we’re doing over the next seven games. We’re just trying to get him good and healthy for Monday.”
Joel Dreesen played a fine game against The Colts and is expected to probably remain the starter. But Casey should get his fair share of time on the field. I am sure the coaching staff doesn’t want to rush “Thor” back into action too fast and risk any lingering issues on the knee.

Cool! Healthy players wanting to get back in the game is good news. I’m sure he’ll perform as they ease him back in.

Mike, good to see that Casey was playing last night, even if it didn’t work out. Been a fan of his since before the draft. Hopefully yall can find some good ways to use him. He’s a matchup nightmare.
